Attn MAF Translator Pro Users, who's interested in a custom dash holder

I'm gauging interest for those who might be interested in a dash mounted bracket/holder for your TPro like the one in the pic. How many might be interested in this type of set up and what would you think a fair price would be. It is all hand made and finished and has about 7hrs labor involved from start to finish. This bracket/holder does not require any cutting of your dash in anyway at all. It uses the dash surround itself to hold it in place. It has a harness bracket made into the back of the holder to manage all of the harnesses and computer cables and it integrates into the layout of the car seamlessly and keeps the TPro in easy view to monitor the vitals while driving. I know a coupls of guys has contacted me about this and it is a go. I just have to know how many to build and what a fair price would be given the time and material to make it. Those interested or with questions can email me direct since I check it quite often donnieandheather@alltel.net
It will not pop out of the holder under any condition, it's firm and stays put.

Donnie,

If it takes pretty much a full work day to make just one, plus you buying the materials & including all the other less obvious costs of production, packing & shipping...I don't see how you'd break even at less than 125.00 to 150.00 each...and that's calculated at only 15.00 an hour for labor. I think your time is worth more than that, given your abilities.

Very nice work!!

Thank you very much, I appreciate the kind words
We're wanting to price them reasonable including shipping. I don't think we could sell many at those prices though, eventhough that price would justify the time and material involved. It seems that things are high enough as it is anyway and we would like to make it to where it wouldn't kill a pocketbook to buy one.

Can someone help out here? If you have a PLX R500, would you please take a few pics of it from different angles and post it in this thread. Donnie has some ideas for a mount for these also. I have one, but my car is in winter storage, and is a pain to get to. Thanks.

Thanks, we've got that pic. What we need are some different angle views of one if somebody has one of these. We are going to modify our TPro holder to house this unit for Robert and need some diferent views of it i.e front, back side views etc.
