I think the 85s had one motor...not sure about the 86s...not sure if I can look under mind and see them or not...I will try to remember to look tomorrow.

First pic is top and second is bottom of a power seat track off an 87.I believe Steve is right about the single motor(with a transmission to operate funtions)on earlier models. The three motor version also has an aluminum upper which will fail under nurmous high PSI launches on slicks. eek! Doh!!! At least thats how my 11/87 built GN is. yup Carter
