FWIW...

My TE62 is on it's way back from Limit. Just had it rebuilt.
When I talked to Chopper, he said it would need a new exhaust housing, (among other things) and that all he had available was the Precision housings. They were all out of Garrett housings.
He said it would spool a bit slower off the line, but would have alot more top end power. He also wanted to open-up the WG hole to .930".

What housing was on it when you sent it to them, and what was the reason that it needed a new housing? Just curious.
Say, I know that you have heard it before, but that grey Turbo-T of yours sure is nice. How many miles on it?

It had a Garrett .63 housing on it with a hogged-out WG hole...
Basically, Chopper said I needed to replace EVERYTHING except the compressor housing. He's using the bigger Precision housing, which is fine with me.
I will now have about $1100 into this dang turbo.

Thanks for the kind remarks. The car has 90k on it, but looks like 30k.
