Problem running Scanmaster & TurboLink

I have both a Scanmaster 2.1 and the newest turbolink. I also have a turbotweak chip with the fast update setting. Today i went to record a run. the turbo link was recording and scanmaster on. I was at full throttle and all of a sudden the scanmaster went dead and the turbo link stopped recording and said lost connection. I tried 3 times and everytime it did the same thing. With the turbo link unplugged the scanmaster works fine. And before the turbotweak chip the scanmaster and turbolink worked fine. Today when i went ro read my recording only a few frams were there and then one frame shows 9999.

Anyone else have an issue like this?

Could it be the chip?
