| 78 sport coupe what kind of turbo is on a stock 78 regal sport coupe this car smokes like a all night poker game is it the turbo or the engine. can i rebuild this turbo Last edited by buick0069 : 05-13-2005 at 09:55 PM. |

 | I think that it's a T3408 or something close..Your question is more suited in the B4Black forum..that's where us CarbedHotAirslugs hang out. Yes the turbo can be rebuilt, A local heavy trunk shop or John Craig...Depends on your plans for the car.... Smoke could be from the turbo oil seals or rings. Do a leak down and compressation(sp?) test and post the numbers. Jim
