Et Update, Et udpate, ET Update

Greetings everyone,
Well I posted a new best for the GN today. 12.371 @ 107.69

I attached the Times slips. First pass was a 12.55 @ 108.29

Has you can see by the time slips (car 227) the second pass was quicker. I was against the converter longer and the boost came up and pushed the car though the lights, Thus the red light. But 1.773- 60'. And it spun until about 30' out. (The wife was with me, it was a 25 wedding anniversary last week, So we got away for the weekend, She suggested it, Of course I did not argue. (Yes, God as blessed me with truly wonderful woman, and no she does have any sisters that are not married)).
Well, Back to the car.
#20 boost max, 1450° egt, O2 said 335 (that has to be a false reading), zero knock, C16 fuel (one year old). Stock D5 converter. The first pass was how I normally do it, I wait until both are staged then I floor it against the brake, Second time I was against a 10-second car. And he staged last, So I was on the converter after I full staged, and he staged about 2 seconds later. That was enough time for the boost to come up where it pushed though the lights and I felt it spin (Kinda like the Carbed turbo OLDS did). Like I said second pass EGT 1450, #20 don’t know what the Launch boost was. (I need a data logger).

I also post this to let some of you know that I have been suffering with OCD Since my wife & son where in that very bad car accident 4 years ago. I was afraid to drive on the public street, Well this weekend; I drove up to and back from the track, without having to retrace my steps. I always use to be one to think that Mental illness, well really wasn't an Illness, Until it happens to me.
Some of you may or may not know I am a Born again Christian. And after be to a few doctors, I found a Christian one, Because of my Faith. And I am healed. And I Praise Jesus.
Now with that, IM not trying to cram Christianity down anyone throat. I telling you that when I put my faith back where it belonged, I am healed.
If anyone has issue with this statement please emails me direct; I don't want to clutter up the boards with this discussion on Christ.
I'm just saying what happened to me. And I feel I need to tell the whole group, Because over the last 4 years, If I attempted I most likely been able to attend more advents in the NE area. But I was Afraid to drive.
I still get nervous and clam my self down, but I am 100 % better than I was.
I apologize if I let anyone down. And or upset anyone.
God Speed, Fred

Nice going, Fred. Congratulations on both accomplishments. I'm a bit low on the "faith" thing but the Red Sox winning the world series gives me a reason to maybe think about it. No offense taken here. Just glad that things are improving for you and your family.

Sounds Great! Just an agreement that God is still alive. In 4 days it will have been 21 years since I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I was playing pro football at the time. (Go Bears). And at a chapel service before a game someone talked about the God-shaped hole in our lives. Drugs, fame, money, CARS, girls can't satisfy it. Only God can give you peace. I'm lucking to be alive with the cars I've had and the drinking I did. I know there is a God because he changed my life and healed my daughter who was born 2 1/2 months premature. She only weighed 3 pounds and the doctors said she wouldn't walk or talk. This all happened 4 days after I gave my life to Christ. After two months in the hospital and some surgurys things didn't look good. But with lots of prayers, God did a miracle. The cat scans they did on the brain actually changed. She is 21 now, graduated with honors, played volleyball and looks like a model. If you knew the whole story, she really is a miracle. Keep up the faith, God does answer prayers. You can always email me and I'll pray for you. I've been a youth pastor now for 16 years.

Thank you again the support is great.

I have been born again for 27 years, My wife is the one that lead me to the lord when we where dating.

The last four years have been tough for me. I was embarrassed to admit to anyone outside my immediate family, I was having issues. I felt that if I said anything people would think a “Real Man” would not act this way.

I use to drive to the track or anywhere by my self, with no problems at all. I use to enjoy driving.

But after that accident my wife and son had something changed. And well now with Jesus help my healed.

It was a test / lesson. I thought I would share this. Because well, maybe someone else out there is going though this. And I would like to help. (At least let them know they’re not alone)

Life is to short to be stuck in "fear”.
