| Hellow there all! I've been scratching a hole in the side of my head. Here is how it all started. My boost soleniod was shot on my summer beater so I took the hoses and soleniod off of my low milage car, it has roughly 13000 miles on it. I just insured the car for the road last week. Got the soleniod and hoses from Kirban. Noticed I was overboosting. Changed the tee on the hoses. Everything seemed fine. But the other day I punched it and I'm only making 15psi, where I should be making 20psi. But, in second gear it goes up to 20psi, not in first. I then proceeded to put the old soleniod(original) back on, along with the hoses. Same result! When I put a bleeder on the hose,it boost like crazy, take the bleeder out, back to same old. The car basically looks new, there is no cracked header's, hell the black paint is still on the pipes. I then thought maybe it was the chip. I changed the chip and same thing! One think to note, I did fog the motor since the car was parked. Could the oil from the fogger coated something. My summer beater runs fine. I'm at a lost. Any help would be most appreciated! Just want to go back to having a boost of a Time! Thanks Guys! | You said you went back to the original "Y"? and you have the restrictor in the "Y" pointed at the housing, not the actuator? They still race on that old abandoned runway up there?

| Yeah Steve the orfice is going to the housing, I must of burnt my hands about 10 times making sure of it. And I even took the other tee from the other car to try it. I also made sure the orfice was clean. And Yes! We still race on the old runway. Actually we got about 10 Turbo Cars heading out on the 1st. I'm hoping that all the spectators will hear whistling in their ears for the next week. I ran the low mileage one last year. All that was done to the car was 40lb injectors, bigger pump, fuel pressure regulator, and Hot Flash Chip. The ripped off a 12.3@108mph. Something to be said about having a low miler. Unfurtunately, she doesn't want to boost for me. Murphy's Law, I bet if I left it alone, everything would have been fine! Thanks Steve!Nick M.G.N.A [This message has been edited by forzfed (edited August 27, 2001).] |

| anything happen that might make the puck not seal properly? Strange that it is boosting in second gear....not real rich in low gear is it? Converter still stalling to the same rpm?

| Like I said the fogging of the motor is the only thing I can think of. When I first fired up the car, it smoked lots from the oil, but eventually cleared. And I'm assuming with the amount of heat there, it would burn the oil away. When I parked the car it ran great. The night before I parked it I pulled up to a 97 formula and when we both punched it, the formula looked like it was in park. Then again it was only 8 Celsius outside. Felt like the car was running high 11s! Any other Ideas? I could use as many as possible. Nick M.G.N.A. |

| Yeah, I can get a scantool and use a turbo-link, which is what I'm going to do! I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going to buy myself a direct scan, I here they are a little better than TL. Thanks for the Feedback! Nick M.G.N.A. |
