| Hey, can I use a chip out of say a Camaro or any other GM with a PROM for a GN? And, will a Scanmaster work on the same vehicles?

| Nah, I mean the actual chip itself. I've noticed the similarities between the GN and a TPI system. Things like ECU codes and the ALDL link, the TPS, etc. I was wondering if the pins on the chips are physically interchangable and if so, if you can burn a chip for a GN on a chip out of say, a TPI Camaro or even a 3.1 (or 3.4?) crossfire. By the way, where's the beer? cheers

| Some will work. Some of them don't have the "window" to erase, so those are out. Others are too small in memory size (2k instead of 4k). When you do find one that is right, sometimes they are hard to re-burn. Eric |
