OEM style gas tank?

Need a new tank for my car. Someone told me that the tanks you get from local parts distributors do not have the correct baffeling. I don't know if the baffles are not the correct size or just not there at all? If anyone knows a parts company that has an OEM style tank please let me know. Oh yeah I found a company online that listed a tank for a turbo regal so I emailed him. Not much help. He emailed me back that he had never heard of someone having problems with 1/4 tank of gas or less, but to let him know. I don't know if that meant just buy the tank, put it in, and let me know if you starve your car of fuel. Then again maybe noone has had a problem with their tanks. Anyway I need some help with finding a good OEM replacement tank.

Cool

I've got a replacement tank on salvageV6 my daily driver.

Pan baffle is what is in it.

Works fine, never starved out and it's been run hard with the little yellow low fuel light on once in a while. ;)

At the track the car usually has 7-12 gallons in it.

Baffles are way over-rated.

Had to buy and solder on the neck to the tank however so that may be an issue for you, make sure your tank comes with a neck.

I run a Spectra premium replacement tank - while the baffle is not as deep, I've never had a problem and I think that they're an excellent replacement (inexpensive as well). I think I paid around 170 bucks two years ago.

You can still locate original OEM tanks, but they're usually pretty beat up from sitting around in warehouses and what not.

Ordered a Poston tank today. Little more than 170 bucks though.
Anyway what the hell, I needed a tank.
