Doubt you'll find one in the yard, they came mostly on LS1 f-body and Vettes, 98 and above f-bodies, and 97 and above Vettes. Althought my LT1 TA and LT4 motor in my truck both have the 3.5" MAF, so you may find it on some LT1 f-bodies which were 94-97.

If it will help you the LS1 MAF part #25179711 was also used on 2001-2002 GM full size vans(van only no trucks) with gas V-6 and V-8s and 98 and 99 StepVan-Motorhomes with gas V-8's. The LT1 MAF part #25008308 was also used on 96-2000 trucks with 4.3,5.0,5.7 and 7.4 gas engines and 96-2000 full size vans with gas engines. There should be some type of label with these part numbers on the MAF to identify it.

I just took a look at the MAFs and there isn't any type of ID numbers I could see that would easily identify them. The LS1 and LT1 look the same and use the same bodies though.

| I want a Z06 |
Go to www.ls1tech.com and www.ls1.com and post an ad for a used stock unported Maf. I have bought 3 or 4 over the years for $50 bucks shipped. You won't find one in a junkyard. |

Bob the inventor of the Translator responded to a question I had about this via the other forum, and he told me that the "LT1" MAF that are commonly referred to are the one's from the Impala's, not the F-bodies or Vette. The LT1's for the f-bodies do look like and are the same size as the LS1 MAF but are not as linear in measurements. So, for the Translator to work best, you should either use a 3" Impala LT1 type MAF, or the newer LS1 MAFs, not the 3.5" LT1 f-body MAFs.

| Impala 3" LT1 MAF
Well if it is the 3" MAF you need than those are more plentiful than the 3.5" because it is also the same ones used on 96 to 2004 FWD GMs with the 3.1(3100) and 3.4(3400) V-6s. I've seen a few of them cars at the U-Pull-It and a MAF can be had for $10.
