tires or shocks

Sort of have a dilemma going, I have 26"x9 slicks for the track now, and above 17 pounds of boost they are useless, wont hook for s*** and they are MT's. They are pretty worn but I think I can get a few more runs out of them.

My shocks are pretty bad, they came with the car 7 years ago and were never in that great of shape back then. They are pretty hard actually, and I get the odd wheel hop. Sometimes at the track but not always either. I have no clue on the make of the shocks now, but judging by the character I got the car from, Id guess the cheapest ones out there if they arent stock.

I can get a super deal on 28x10 slicks, or go for shocks. If I go for the tires im gonna have to make sure I get a rim that will work, and dont want to waste weeks just trying to get that right.

If anyone has a recommendation, Id love to hear it.

Thanks.....Pete
