I say go for a mid-60's Skylark....

...that way you don't have to modify your GS but still have a very cool sleeper..
This one was original 6cyl, bench, column shift (still is..)

The mid 60's Skylark was my first choice, but I couldn't find any affordable donors for the project....

I did, however, manage to acquire a 72' Vega wagon that is very up to the challenge.

It's going to take lot's of work and determination...but she'll be one hell of a ride when she's done!

Stay Tuned.

The Vega is now on the back burner....I found something much better and definately within the scope of my fabrication skills....

Black Widow extermination?

Before I can move the car into the garage, I wanted to find out if anyone has any "miracle" remedy for removing all of the Black/Brown Widows from under the chassis?

I've been making my rounds at night and they keep showing up.... I'd hate to move the project into the garage and have them latch onto the other cars...

Anyone had any luck with "tenting" a car?

No experience with the tent idea but you could use a couple of bug bombs and throw them under the tent to kill them. That should work fairly well if you can seal the edges good.
