V8 turbo Z

Just to drop a note this is what I'v been working on for the last 2 years and the fiero. The 280Z is DONE! The fiero is another story. Just got it togerther 2 weeks ago and a exsust valve stuck and bint with only 1 hour of ezzy run time and the trans was slipping in 3rd so it's all apart again, I will post some pic. of the trick intake I made from a stock GN one.

That is sick! Is the 140mph in the trap speed its best so far?

What is the rear end setup and gearing?

it is the best speed. it was hitting the rev limmit at 7000 just befor the traps. It has the 280 R200 3.36 gears.

it will never be sold. My dad is 68 and wants to get his NHRA license. We have had the car sence 1985 and got it with a 327 then put in a 350 a year later.

One of my brothers called me from the track. I don't know all the details but
# 2 rod went and now there is a big hole in the side of the block. My dad said sea level was at 6000ft on bad day. The car was doing 137mph on the pass when it went. I told him a least he saved the car as he said that is was hard to stop with all the oil on the tires.

I am sure John will chime in with the details.

He is doing it by him self. At 68 he is realy motovated to get it running.
