Talking New INFO on direct BOLT IN for BUICK 3.8!!

All 77’ through 81’ 231 c.i. V6 powered Firebirds were carbureted, normally aspirated engines. (even though the 1980 and 81 Turbocharged Trans Am 301’s utilized Buick technology).

All Camaro’s and Firebirds have the same front subframe and cross member from 1974 through 1981.

SO this means you can order the 231 v6 motor mounts. BOLT them into the frame of your favorite F-Body (1977-1981) and then bolt in your motor. (The natural v6 cars are few and far between so you'll have to order the mounts unless you get lucky.)

Of course there is DP clearance issues and wiring issues. And of course there's the trans mount I'm still waiting to hear if these work. But I know for a fact the motor and mounts work and bolt in perfectly.

I'll keep you posted. Just thought I'd share.

Special thanks to Marc for the info (MLabrecque)
