The hybrid my brother just bought (Chyke's Mustang) only weighs 2605lbs w/out driver and will be lighter by about 100lbs when he gets rid of the stock fugly rims for some Weld Draglites....

To shed 100lbs by switching to Welds the current ones would need to weigh about 37lbs a piece. Doesn't sound likely?

Well the stock GN wheels are about 28lbs w/out a tire if my memory serves me correct and these feel just as heavy if not heavier!!! Might not be 37lbs, but I'd say they are pretty close.... It will actually gain some of the weight back anyways in a few months because a 6-point chromoly rollbar w/ swingouts will be going in...

My rear welds weighed 24lbs with tires each... Or at least that is what was stamped on the UPS box. That was with the American racer dirt tires on 15x8 rim
