Audi R8

So I went to pick up a freind from work the other night in down town Austin. We pull up to a light right behind a magnificent Audi R8. First of all, my car is no slouch on the street (te-44 gn1 aluminums port matched, 20#s etc etc). He bolts from the light and I really did not expect him to. I then go ahead and mash, pulling up on him but loosing traction (had radials on for inspection).
We went down Lake Austin Blvd and I got along side. Lots of cops where we were so no action at that point. The rich yuppie never even looked over at us. The road goes from two lanes to one so I get in front. This guy then procedes to crowd me real bad. Just a note, those thinga are soooo cool. The headlights have a microfilament around the edge making the car look like some sort of transformer cat. We get passed the well policed area and I wanted to see if he was awake so I smooshed the ole boy. A cloud of fuel hits him in the face and I leave hard at about 40. I see his front end rise but he cannot catch me until I let off.
Audi R8:
4.2 Mid mounted v8 420 bhp/317 tq (same as rs4)
0-62 mph in 4.6 sec
Max top 187 mph
3,439 lb dry weight
R-tronic Gallardo tranny
$118,000 Price tag

Just got back from Austin

I liked it out there. Not as Fast paced as out here. I was hoping to see some TR's and low and behold on the last day by the airport as I was leaving, I see a Black GN on 20's. I new Texas wouldn't let me down. We dont see TR's hardly at all out here, but Texas, Virginia and Maryland I seem to always spot one.

I love Austin. It may seem a bit slower paced than some other major cities but that is deceptive. There is so much happening in this city. No matter who you are, you can come to Austin and find a subculture of people just like you. No one hates and everyone is very tolerant of however you choose to live. Lambos next to old rusty VW Bugs. Hippies and yuppies, rednecks and sophistocates. Quentin Tarantino walking down the street. I love this place.

P.S. I also like SD very much. Lived there for four years.

I fell in love with Austin in a brief visit there last year for a friends wedding! Beautiful city, love the sites and sounds (GREAT music)...

Ever go to BJ Riley's? Ever hear Trent Turner and the Moontowers? Guy is an AMAZING guitarist....
