| WFO Racing | GN vrs KB 03 cobra On way out to the street races this weekend to try out the new alky kit, i ran up on a modded 03 cobra , Even though i think roll racing is gay, i still wanted to see where the GN stood against a Kenne Bell equiped 03 Cobra . So we hit from about a 40 punch and i left him. **PT 61 22# boost and alky.. its feels good the owner replied to a local thread that was started about the little race.. Its kinda funny http://www.ccstreetscene.com/forums/...ead.php?t=1022 |

| Imma buckle up, people on some of these TB boys seem to love the 03/04 cars. Granted they are fast. I get crap from guys all the time when I tell em I've beat 3 of them. 2 at the track and 1 on the street from a dig. Great kill.

| Congrats on the kill, if you really want to consider that a kill. I'm not knocking you BUT go from a dig on a straight stretch preferably at the track and then there will be no excuses for anyone. The mustang guy seemed to be straight up in his admission. See if he'll give you a legitimate race. ![]()

| Sounded like a good race either way. I have to agree with Cobra trying to keep it from getting sideways. Run em straight and see

| WFO Racing | i was already on my way out to race an older fox stang with spray. The cobra was just the bonus on the way out there. I would have gladly done it from a dig " i was on slicks" and he didnt bother stopping at the place where we were all gonna race, he just kept driving |

| Looks like the Cobra-guy is saying it wasn't really a legit run. I agree with you...go from a dig or go home. With 630rwhp (if those are true numbers), that's a mid-10 second car. Obviously, I have both, so I kinda' have a bit of insight. When a KB/Whipple car is rolling, watch out. I'm not sure I'd want to run up against one in my Buick, and I may have more than you in the Buick. Good run! S.

| Damn nice kill Phil, the 03's are fast as **** especially with a KB upgrade. I think the corner deal is over exaggerated, it was just a small turn, it was raced mostly in a straight and at high gear they approached the turn, they didnt get on it in a corner. I think ya need to know Pace has been racing for years and knows how to safely race being every car he owns is on skinnies, i dont think he even knows what a set of 17"s would feel like, I try to get him to go with them but he WON'T... He as a 9 sec mustang that he drives on the street and would not race on an extreme corner with slicks and skinnies. Slicks+skinnies+corners=death trap. Good job pace, you know if it had been from a dig you would have wasted him badly being that 03's cant even launch hard with IRS and stickies even if they could hook. |
