| Registered User | I did some cruizin'. Not looking for anybody in particular just cruizin'. Anyway... this other TR was cruizin' around and I was trying to time it just right to catch him on a pass back through. We hooked up side by side. Rolling about 30-35. gas it a bit the other guy would gas it a bit. Well. We hammered it full board and he started pulling away. We then rode side by side and after awhile. I tried to get him to pull over in a parking lot as he was going to turn around. After awhile, I was like "Time for me to head home." I was just outside of Bronson when I passed this minivan who was pooking along at about 50 mph. I see in my rear view mirror, another car passing this minivan. I recognized the headlight assy as that of a regal. So I slowed down in Bronson so it could pass me. It was indeed the TR I ran against in Sturgis. He pulled into the local Shell for his girl friend to get something to drink. I talked to him about the cars and he asked if I went to this particular board. Turns out he lives in a town not to far from Sturgis. A member of turbobuick board as well. Really cool guy. Told me about his mods... I realize.. I'm behind the game here. I was out turbo'd, out injectored, out intercooled, out alcohol'd (I don't have a Alcy system yet), and even out person'd. There was just me in my car and there was him and his GF in his car. Anyway........ JUSTAV6....... Congrats... Looking forward to hooking up sometime and going over some tech stuff.

The way I see it is: if I sill had my last G/F, I would not have the money to put into my GN. I know what your saying...it sucks, but I try and be optimistic about the future. It takes time, just do what you feel is right and find things that can give you a sense of well being.

JUSTAV6. That truly does suck. I hope she didn't break up with you because of friday night. Also. We have a mutual friend so it seems. You know Larry Bonshire. I work with him. You'll have to ask him.... "What's the deal with Rocksalt and Snapps?" He'll probably be surprised and then laugh about it saying "You been talking to Bullwinkle haven't you?" Then maybe he'll tell you. BTW... I will be getting out of work friday night around 7PM as I have a first aid class to attend at 7AM saturday morning. Not sure when they start cruizin' in Sturgis on friday nights. Maybe I'll see you there. If not.... I'll try to make it over there saturday night. Toadie's T-Type (Matt)

Sorry to hear about your woman, JustAV6. Hopefully the next one you get will be better looking and rich. I see by your user name you have a Blue T, right on! I have two blue T's. Here is a link to one of them: http://www.mgna.ca/resources/brochur...er_article.jpg Let me know what you think? And if your car is similar? |

Too bad about your girl JUSTAV6. My girl left me after almost four years, after I had a real bad accident. The doctors said I wouldn't be able to walk without a cane. They were wrong, and she is gone. That was two years ago. I just started hanging out with another chick recently. You live, you learn! If she left you you are probably better of without her. We spoke of marrige but I'm glad it didn't get to that point because it took a bad situation to bring out the true her! Life sucks and then you die! Don't waste another minute thinking about her(I know thats not easy). Coming from a young guy (23) thats kinda been through it. Best of luck! Oh, FORZFED, your tire choice looks good. What size are those tires in the back? 265 60/15? They look like a nice combo. They are just the right size.

Kinda neat to have an article in the paper with your car in it. My younger bros have told me that they seen my car in a commercial on TNN. A commercial for an Autobody shop. That was done back when my older bro own'd the T-Type. He works at this particular bodyshop. I wanna ask them for the tape to see it myself.
