That would only matter if his sponsorship was a contingency payout. I don't believe it is.

does it make a difference????? he stepped up and is willing to put down $500 for the Event and sponsorship of the class....He makes Buick specifc kits and is well known in other circles.....we worry about vendors going by the wayside and here is a releative unknown in the "Buick" circle ready to step up....lets not turn this into a pissing match....anyone that is willing to help is more than welcome in my book

Looks like these are the rules

must be alky injected water propane meth
any body style as long as it is Buick Motor
any turbo block,,,stage 109 4,1 BUICK only
any turbo can mount it anyware you want
any exhaust downpie cut out allowed
but must. be muffled for cruise
all lights wipers turnsignals must work
11.00 break out( might bump it to 10.5)
HEADS UP protree
pick of hat ladder
any tires and suspension
any engine management
trns brakes ok...no delay boxes
buy in for losers bracket
NHRA safety is mandatory...if you cAR RUNS 11,46 THEN YOU NEED A BAR...YOU RUN AN 11.O1 AND FAIL TECH FOR BAR...YOU ARE OUT

they key is to tune the to run 11.001 this should allow the most Street racers to compete in a heads up class....thinking about $20 entry fee with a $10 buy back winners vs loser in second ladder

so what you brung is what you run,,,tech to be done offsite,,,no trailers,,,tech and drive to track,,,line up according to lotto 1-2 3-4 4-5 5-6 etc...if you lose you can buy back in...this will increase the pot,,,depending on the $$ plus the $250 from Snow Performance: Home it could be a big pot with payout back to the top 8

this race will not conflict with the bracket races

Looks like you have eliminated anyone with a true street car from wasting their time entering. Maybe you should remove the street car from the class name?

Steve,

Bracket racing will put the street cars back in but bracket racing apparently is akin to watching paint dry. I will be at this event and I will be watching this class race, it still should be pretty enjoyable.
