I agree on the paint drying bit..but, bracket racing will favor the guys with tranny brakes, slicks, lotsa track experience, etc....

not the average guy who drives his car everyday with a normal turbo, street legal tires, stock suspension etc. It may have a number of cars the first time, but, I would not be surprised to see the interest drop once it is figured out to be a slam dunk for a few.

my idea was to have a heads up class......for the non bracket racer....much like TSM or TSO without the "rules", but for the alky guys.....as with any new class there will be "issues".....it is pretty much anythong goes....as long as you can drive it from the Tech/gas station...straight to the line...and go...as there are no qualifications rounds....1/2 3/4 4/5 works...ladder is drawn out of a hat.....

Long as the people that put the money up are happy....you can always refine it the next go round

sounds to me as if you need a Pro class for the select few...and a heads up, street class with drag radials, stock ecms, stock suspensions and a floor of something like 11.4 so the other 200 cars have a chance....but, like I said, if your donators are happy, that is the first thing to consider.

you are right....but the quickest car does not always win......we shall see how it shakes out...still have 6 mos to tweak...just did not want another purpose built class...but one where an alky car that people drive on the street can run......and not be in a bracket...I still will run a bracket class...if I get my butt in gear and finish my car...lol

machine work is all done on motor,,,just have to do the intake,,,injectors and plumbing..oh and oil cooler..trans lines...plumbing for bb turbo...guess i should get going....someone has to give you a run

You can easily get a very low 9 sec car into this class with the rules listed. Your idea of "people drive on the street" don't match your rules. Get ready for lots of brake lights and cars sliding through the traps
