Question Shaved door handles a no-no?

I overheard that a car with shaved door handles won't pass tech, true or false? As you can see from my sig, my car doesn't meet any class requirements. But if shaving my handles will keep me off the track when I do have the opportunity to get on it, I'm not going to do it.
Thanks

I have a 70 1/2 Camaro and have tried 3 times to pass tech with shaved door handles. twice they noticed right away, the third time he noticed while writing on the window So at least up here in Canada they won't let you run.

Will they let it go for test and tune, or is this an all the time thing?

So far, I've been to six tracks and made it through every time..I have a wild scalloped paint job on my car, I think it distracts the tech guys.....Knocking on wood as you read this....

If you were knocked out during a mishap, and for some reason there was an electrical problem, it would mean the rescuers would probably jaws the door, or have to bust the glass in on you.

I like their looks, but, don't care for the downsides.

I realize that when seconds count, this will slow down rescuers..If you had door handles and your doors were locked, they would bust the glass anyway..

You lock your doors at the track while running?.
I'd revisit that idea. <G>
