At 16 lbs you should have been pulling fuel on a chip for 22 lbs. Eric is Very Close on his chips most times. Adding fuel was the opposite of what it needed. Live & learn as they say! As long as you had fun & didnt break anything.

DS was showing 720 for 02's...and 7 something for AF. So which do you believe? Until we can verify which is correct, we're playing it safe. I'm gonna borrow Norbs portable 02 checker next weekend...and I'll find out what's going on. I honesly don't think Eric could be that far off...his chips are usually pretty close. I had Eric set the 02's for 20 lbs of boost...kinda figured the 02's would have read somewhere in the 820's at 15 PSI. I have a hunch I know why. Dan had the alky modified to come on at 1 pound of boost...because he had a set of 8445 heads on it...which raised the compression ratio...GN1's are now on it. I'm wondering because the engine is getting so much alky, so early, that it's screwing up the 02 reading. My calculations were correct...Dan went 7.3 in the 1/8th...and I can stall my bike on the line...restart it...and still have a better 60 foot than Fred in his anemic Cameric.

Is the alchy progressive? 1lb is very early. I like to start about 10 & max about 18 with the pro kit & 1 nozzle.

No, it's the old school alky...which makes matters worse. Just talked to Dan...he found a couple of loose ground wires...which is likely skewing the 02 numbers. He's off tomorrow, and he'll get it fixed...and we'll try it again. Never say die.
