Would you belive I just had this same discussion with another Member The main reason for a manual Valve body is to be able to select 2nd Most prefer to start in 3rd out of the water thats with a fully built tranny and lots of HP |

always shifted my Th400 2-3 . started in 2nd shifted into 3rd as I rolled out of the burnout . I remember this topic being somewhat covered a long time ago on the other board . and the guy who built my Th400 trans told me the exact samething the day I picked it up . .

if you have ever seen a TH400 drum/sprag , you could most likely hurt or kill a person just by throwing it at them hard enough . never mind if it exploded out of a trans . drum is about a 5" dia chunk of steel and has a bit of weight to it . .
