The year is not over,,,I still have yet to make my one pass breakdown. However with Melissa and Bird breaking records, it s now very difficult for me, as i now have to change the combo again.... Just orderd some more parts again so i can sleep better for now.

With less junk on it . 2 secs is a pile of excuses . Oh...I forgot you don't go to the track for et slips , your a light racer .

You're the only person I know that pissed away $14,000 to go 3/10's quicker...you could have got the same results by adjusting the air pressure in your DR's for the price of a tire gauge.

The bottom line is this. I turn the win light on...and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Better sharpen up your reaction time during the winter...because if you don't...I'm putting you on the trailer in April.

Damn, a 1.9 60' is pretty darn good....no wonder you pulled off a mid 13....I still ran my radials and got a best of 2.1 60'...line lock goes on this week so I can run better tires. Gus wants to take another trip out and odds are good that I will accompany him.

Your both wrong. Tim might have went 3 tenths quicker then his last years setup, but added 9 more mph, which is not a easy task. Mph shows that this motor makes alot more power then his previous, and with a true slick and decent sixty foot, Tim's car has got a 10.40 to 10.20 in it with everything staying the same. So Norbs your in the boat by yourself bro.

Thanks Mike for giving beachbum the facts . I have no regrets building it and have a good idea what it is capable of with the right person behind the wheel that could 60ft it . Something I'm man enough to admit I'm not capable of doing very well right now . But... it's been fun trying

Norbs sometimes you have to cut things loose in life no matter what the physical or monetary cost , swallow the loss and move on . or you'll never get out of it and it will just keep consuming you and your money forever . and you'll NEVER have ANYTHING to show for all your effort to the most important person......YOURSELF . It's nothing to be ashamed of . Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on . learn from your mistakes and leave them far behind , don't bring them with you . That's what beachbums ex wife told me and I've lived with that motto ever since . No such thing as "the point of no return" in life , only after you die .

Norbs,
Its always fun to build stuff & play in the garage but you go the most Exotic route all the time. We all spend but you just have to reinvent the wheel all the time. Part that stuff out, put a nice 11 sec combo in the car & its a cruiser that wont break. Then buy a 10 sec turn key car. Those who build it lose when selling it so buy Jasons car & save $$$ to boot!
