The reason your not out making runs is because you chose to tig weld big pipes instead I have said it many times before KEEP IT SIMPLE! If you waste all your time trying to re invent the wheel your missing out on life itself. I use to feel bad for you but i'm starting to think you enjoy the pain I can duplicate the exact combination on my car from a catalogue for any one here. Nothing magical on this car and i have nothing to hide. Norbs get out of that garage before it kills you. Put that thing together and go have fun.btw, Steve, thanks for posting the video and the pics great job. Turbogiblets has another version from his buddys camera that i think is a little clearer i'll get him to post it. Thanks again.

Rich, Its amazing what that car does! I think its just a born race car as NOBODY else can run that number with 94 & LOW Boost & Timing!! I would Greatly Appreciatte as well as others I'm sure, if you could post your setup for us? I cant believe that all cars would do it! Yours is a born Racer That loves the track!! Great Job!!! PS: Did they BOOT you off the track??

If you tune is on, you are good as gold. Not comparing apples to apples but it is quite similar. Last year I took my first pass with my street tune and boost at 22psi on slicks and dumped the exhaust in the fender. I was curious to see how fast the car would go with the program and boost I run on the street. My sixty foot was not that good but it still ran 10.14 @131mph. I did not run pump gas, it was C16. I am sure it could do it on pump gas, but knowing my luck. Something might blow off or something silly like that and cost me a headgasket or bottomend. For a complete street setup, IT CAN BE DONE. Rich's car works awesome. Just figure it like this. If you ever pull beside him on the street................133mph is what your gonna have to play with Crazy ain't it? Ya gotta love the power of the 6.YouTube - 22 psi run

I have only had 3 passes in 2 years with this combo well really 2 passes so very little tuning which means a lot but I know I can do a low 11 on gas but a low 10?? I am curious to see his combo? Maybe my old style 67 is in need of some upgrading & some Champion heads? I know the motor has it. ATR bar so 60's arent bad at 1.6-1.7 but its either tuning or he has a secret weapon under the hood?

In my opinion this can be duplicated. Rich has some very good parts in his combo, such as : 70 GTQ turbo, Champion GN1 ported heads, Fast system, Pecision front mount) The rest is well thought out also like injector size, fuel system, his obvious ability to tune, driver ability (I would have spun those ET streets ) Another important item is the torque convertor. I'd bet if you asked any of the TSM guys to run pump gas most if not all would be in the 9s Hell some of them are on the brink of breaking 8s with the Stroker engines. Rich has no VooDoo secrets just Money spent in the right places and an obvious knowlege of the fast system and very good tuning ability. Again Rich Congrats |

The last pass, I made a couple of changes (changed boost control back to stock) and added a little timing. The timeslip did not give me 1/4 mile data....just up to 1000ft 11.29 @ 79.72mph. I thinks it's a little better. I asked my buddy if he seen the et posted and he wasn't watching.
