| Brad,I called the owner of this car earlier this evening. Want to go see it but he will be out of town this weekend so seeing the car is impossible. Just to let you know the car was sprayed but also driven in the winter. It's not mint.....some small rust under the front drivers fender. He does not know the mileage on the car. Not sure how many times it rolled over. It has blue interior. The owner is emailing me photos of the car. I will keep you posted. Ps.....the 86 t-type that i want to buy....the guy is on crack.....He is determined to get $9,000. For that $$$ i can get a decent gn....even if i had to put a few bucks more it's a gn....in my opinion it holds more value than a t-type. Crazy i tell you! Michael ![]() ![]() |

Speaking as someone who bought a car with just a tiny bit of rust, there is no such thing as a tiny bit of rust on a G-body!!!! I have considerably more money tied up in the body of mine than I do in the purchase of my car and the last time I had my car appraised (2005 I think) it appraised for decent money. I have since had the rear frame rails replaced due to a "bit of rust" that I could never find while looking from underneath, but the body bushing holes were opened up. It now has new doors, rear quarters, rocker panels, etc and all of it is due to a "bit of rust". Things get real ugly when you start stripping one of these cars down to bare metal, remove all windows and interior, you quickly realize that there is no such thing as a bit of rust on a G-body!!!! Good luck with that T, I really like the Blue T's, that is one of my favorite colours along with Rosewood and the WH-1 paint scheme. ![]()

Once I get my car back from the body shop and make a couple of decent passes with it, then I will focus on that car a bit. One car at a time if you will!!

| So has this car for sale been snagged yet? One of us should make a Go-Fast car from it. Remember Rust is lighter than metal!! ![]()

| What is the most you would pay for this car. Do you think that he is over priced? What makes you think that the car is junk? I will be going hopefully tonight to look at this car. I will keep you posted. Michael ![]() |

Just make sure you check the rear frame rails, those are the first places that will rust on these cars. You cannot safety a car with frame rot, the part of the frame has to be hacked out and replaced, so be wary. I passed on a G-Body Cutlass for that very reason, expensive to repair the frame.
