| Engine stand? I just picked up a 750 lb engine stand but it only has 3 wheels & not 4 like my other one rated at 750 as well. Anyone use one with 3 wheels? Looks scary since I'm used to always having 4 wheels. Might return it? ![]()

| I have both a 3 and 4 wheel stands.. 4 wheel one is a homemade. 3 wheel is old .. Prob one of the first engine stands made . I have had no problems BUT I did have to borrow one from a friend... 4 wheel cheapie. He used it for a BB chebby .. IT SUCKED !!! I can't see the cheap 3 wheel one being any better .. Just have to use your head and be careful when your moving it with the engine on . ![]()

| Older than dirt | The 3 wheel model came standard w/ all turbo Puicks, from 1985. The 4 wheel model was RPO code WTF4.

The new one from Princess is much better quality! They have a Real nice 5 wheel folding legs for $130 I almost got but dont need to hold 2000 lbs ever so I said forget it & got some tools instead! ![]() Cant leave that store without filling a basket everytime I go there!
