You guys like to make a big deal out of nothing!!
I thought the buick guys should help each other out!
I do not post here because most guys here always have some kind of sarcastic responce...
Does it not get annoying after a while??

actualy , I think this board flows rather well . all of us seem to get along well with no real downside . for the most part, tips and tricks are shared with other board members .It just takes a while for the Hamilton guys to be forth comming . as far as the posting of "sarcastic responses" . I don't think it's bad at all .when have you ever step outside your house and not got a little sarcastic response ? there are other boards alot worse . it's a little tight group here, with a few lurkers on the side lines . where everyone basicly keeps each other in check .we have had these cars long enough to filter fact from BS. I personaly like to keep my responses on the humorous , tongue and check side. Lifes to short to take it to serious .But , be carefull of that board member who's trying to "act" his way in with that super fast Jap/GN poerwtrain car. I have my suspicions about him . He's taking the info that he gets from this board and sharing it at other Hybred car boards and taking credit for it lol. ok , time to crawl back under my car to install the cross-over . I hope I don't drop it on my head like last time and end up with a big easter egg on my forehead lol .

Talking

fastbuick
Don't let these guys get under your skin. They are all a bunch of great guys who will bend over backwards to help you out, except for Tim "Mr Anal" Engine builder who just want to bend you over eek! Beware of him when buying parts, he will try to sell you mint condition stuff for cheap wink
I understand what "the guys" are trying to do when keeping certain info out of the public eye, so when I want specific info, I talk to them privately.

Paul

lol .yeah , it seems I just buy stuff and get the stuff shipped over , then turn around and sell it at a loss .gee, I better stay away from the stock market lol .

I found blowing up a engine a month actually pretty funny . I now have velcro engine mounts because of it . It's all part of "the game". I've owned MANY performance cars from A to Z . and have not ever had a problem like I've had with this Buick . Hopefully my luck will change .

ugh

fastbuick, I have no clue who you are... or if you are even in the GTA (or surrounding areas). What you need to realize is that we are kinda like a family... and anything that happens superficially in black and white on this board, it, is usually taken as a joke. You'd need to hang out with these jokers more often to get it.

We have a sucessful Stage II engine builder here in Brampton... who will bet getting my rotating assembly when push comes to rod. wink

Hey Mike (1 Rare T),

The guy that did the engine in your car seems like he did a pretty good job when he built it for Steve.

fastbuick,

It all boils down to who you feel most comfortable with and they MUST understand these are not small block chevies with loose clearances. As long as the machine shop knows that it is a Buick V6 engine and knows the little qwirks with rebuilding them then you should be fine.
