Hey Brad,

We've had our car to Bowling Green 6 times and we drove it 4 times and trailered it twice, and it is always a better feeling to trailer. If you aren't planning on racing then it won't matter too much if you drive or trailer, but when racing just remember anything can happen. We have never been stranded or broke down with our car at any track, Cayuga, St. Thomas, Bowling Green, Norwalk or Atco New Jersey.
These cars are now 15 and 16 years old and parts can be hard to come by.

Just some thoughts,

Good advice Paul, nobody like to get stranded or worse "broke" with no wheels. Currently there are three of us going down, 2 GN's and a Turbo T. Should be a good road trip.

Cool

Tim, you can ride shotgun with me or Donny if your car is not up and running by then. It is more fun to run with someone beside you to talk to and share the driving.

Hey Dave,

I probably won't be going to Bowling Green this year, it is a bad time for me to try to get time off. I am thinking about Bristol in the Fall though. I am hoping to have some free time this year, work has told us we will be much slower this year. September 11 really slowed new construction at the airport. Who knows, maybe I will make BG this year, but I doubt it.

Talk to you later,

Hello fellow Canadians!

I will be there!
Perhaps as a vendor selling my products?
Perhaps with TurboVette or Sixshooter again?

Cool

Hey Automorph,

Yep, that was me racing Red Armstrong at Norwalk in 89. I learned a very valuable lesson at that race, 3.90 gears DON'T work with stock sized tires (26"). After that race we went to a taller tire (28") and then we ran some 12.30's at 109 mph.
Just as a correction to the right up in the mag, I treed Red off the line and then he flew by me at about the 1200' mark.

Oh well, thats racing,
