| SCONE WIZARD... | Hmm.. Been thinking about maybey selling alot of my spare Buick drivetrain parts. Have a complete engine - standard bore which is good,(engine is disassembled), stock headers, stock cranks, intake, bunch of A/C stuff, and the high perf trans & red stripe convertor thats in my car.. (convertor is FINE now - it was the switch near the brake pedal causing it not to lock up]. You could go for a ride the car before buying trans & convertor... Rather sell it to Ontario area guys, as I dont want to ship [the big stuff] and most of you guys are within driving distance... Anyone wanting buy some spare stuff.. shoot me an email with what you might be looking for. I have lotsa engine/drivetrain related stuff here. Thanks..... mailto hreally@mnsi.netohreally@mnsi.net</A> ------------------ DTA... don't trust anybody... - - - - - - Steve Ruston 1987 Turbo Limited |

| The stock headers catch my interest...are they ported? If not, then thats fine...have they been patched up or warped in any way? Send me mail about a fair price. | SCONE WIZARD... | Tomas - sent you an email on the headers ![]() Engine and pretty much all the engine related parts (2 extra cranks, heads, intake, etc) are sold... Thanks Dave! - I REALLY wanted to see it all go to you anyways Transmission and Red Stripe convertor are STILL AVAILABLE. Trans was rebuilt in spring of 1999 by National Performance. Back when I was at his shop, I remember Ken mentioned some guy named Mike at Transware.. that that supposedly does his trannies.(??) I've heard the neame Transware but don't know much about them. Ken said it was the rebuild they did on all their 10 second cars and it has all the hard/heavy duty parts in it. It will bark second gear with the slicks on at the track on the 1-2 shift. Has a bit of a harsh shift around town but liveable. Barks 1-2 at part throttle sometimes LOL.. The convertor works fine as well.. I am asking $700 CDN outright for both - trans and convertor. They are still in my car and should someone be interssted in them, I will take that person for a ride to show them it all works ok.. before I pull the trans & convertor out. The trans WILL need a TV cable as the one in it is a new one I bought, and I will be keeping it, other wise its fine. I do have an old TV cable I can give you.. THANKS, Steve. mailto hreally@mnsi.netohreally@mnsi.net</A> ------------------ DTA... don't trust anybody... - - - - - - Steve Ruston 1987 Turbo Limited |
