Post Big Mikes BBQ

Big Mikes BBQ was excellent along with all the new people I met!! Great food great people!!
My friend expected a bunch of kids, screaching tires etc. but he now knows Turbo Buick owners are people with class!!
Here's the question part of this??
On the way home my Buick Original MAF Sensor started a slow death (but got me home) so I,m looking for someone to rebuild it. I know Kirban used to but not sure if he still does?? Anybody else that someone might know?? Thanks for any help and again THANKS BIG MIKE!!!

Hey Quality, I can get you one that I ordered for a spare that I don't need right now. I haven't picked it up yet and its worth about $150 Canadian. It is from Cardone in Calif. Let me know if you would like it and I can get it to you this week.

BigMike,

Thanks for the BBQ, it was great. As always it was nice seeing everyone again and meeting new people. I would have liked to stay and go out with you guys to see the street cars but I had to get home.

I did see a nice GN on the 407 on my way home and I waved to the owner, nice looking car.

Once again Mike thanks for the BBQ and tell Dennis he did a great job cooking.

Props to Big Mike and his lovely lady friend.

Maria was right when she said Dennis was great with a BBQ! Awesome food. headbang

That was quite the site at Mike's house and in the lot at CT. My God it was Buick Heaven, or Hell depending on your perspective.

It was wonderful to see everyone and their cars, old and new.

Once again: Thank You, Big Mike! canada

Thanks Mike,
for the BBQ and the spacers and the siren. headbang (Especially the siren... I have to have something to keep Dennis from hijacking my car) :p Good to see everybody again.
I think we confused the heck out of Ravi, with all the chip/maf/translator/Extender chip swaps. But at least now he knows he is really close. Chip or Maf. (I still say chip)
Too bad I couldn't stick around to see the rest of iron roll in
I thought I'd punch it a bit as I left, with the rear end rebuild it hooks a lot better instead of just going up in smoke.(Man that stop light comes up quick eek! )

Big Mike and girlfriend (Christina?), thanks so much for the BBQ and Buick socializing. I was totally in heaven surrounded by stunning cars. I got up at 5:30 and have been on the go since then so this is a late posting. Paul is right, MAN AM I CONFUSED. But confused in a good way and blown away by all the generosity and willingness to help. I finally got to put faces to the names. Glad to meet you all and I want to thank you each individually for spending so much time with my car. Bought a chip from Glen(?) a Jay Carter 93 chip. Car was totally drinking gas on the way up with the Red Armstrong 93 chip, much more than ever before but felt strong so I didn't mind too much. The Carter chip had even more mid range power and much much better gas mileage, I used half as much gas on the way back home. Paul Beal, it was great to finally meet you since you were the one who got me involved in all this and thanks again for the MAF screen which I will hopefully install tomorrow if time permits, beautiful car Brother. Ron, you might as well have had your car on blocks with all the parts you swapped over to try on my car! Thanks for all time you spent with me. Big Mike, sweet car Brother, looked like glass...but you missed a spot!! Paul (Quicktoy) HOLY TAIL WIGGLES BATMAN!! I won't forget that sight following behind you last night in my car... and in stunning condition too, I gotta hand it to you, that is an immaculate and unique piece. Mike, your T is beautiful and handles too!! I'll be bugging you soon for advice on suspension stuff.
To everyone that I missed, heartfelt thanks for your help and advice. Billy T. will be in touch with Jay Carter for my chip and I hope that the next time I see you guys I can show you what my car is supposed to run like. Does anyone remember who had the "biggie" oil filter adapters? I wanted to buy one for my car.
Quick but true story...I am in a GN with Fubar, going for a spin to see what a good pulling car feels like, Ron checks the gauges, grabs the steering wheel tight, body tensing up, about to punch it...RON HOLD UP!!COP UP THERE COMING OUR WAY!! Yup, had the "cop radar" on brother, works 99% of the time...I can just smell 'em near me. Ask Ron he'll tell you how many times I spotted cops that night...

Yea I had a good time can we do it again next year.
Ravi seems to attract cops where ever we went there they were.
Swapping parts N/C
The smile on Ravi's face when his car spinning through

first and second "priceless"
We will be waiting for a kill report on a certain vette you have been avoiding. canada

You're the man Fubar.
Funny enough I might see my Vette buddy this weekend. The new chip I bought is making the car run rich I think. I will take your advice and play with the fuel pressure to see. I saw 18lbs boost, with 0 knock and the alcohol off. Stinking like a pig. Trying to get Billy T's Turbolink, might have to bite the bullet and buy a Scanmaster new.

Ravi

Mikey, had a great time. Thanks. Great food.
It was good to see everyone again and meet new people.
I think Dennis might have an other meet close to you're place this summer (Waterdown), then a cruise to the Cdn Tire.

Paul, Dennis still wants to take your car, put some big tires on it and then kick butt at an import meet.

Paul(Quick Toy)I got the name of the guy that widens stock rims .He does this for all the drag cars and such.He made a set of skinnies out of a set of factory mudstang rims for a friend and they were perfect.I will get his address for you this week. His prices are fair.
P.S You will need to clean your other rims again at the next BBQ LOL :p
