Exclamation Spoke too soon, Sept 14th now for get together ????

Hello All,

Something came up with JC and Sept 7th is not a good day.

He reassures me that any weekend after that is fine.

So the new date I am proposing is Sept 14th.

Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. I believe that Ron T (Turk) and Kyle had mentioned that Sept 7th works for them. Hopefully Sept 14th works as well......

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

The 14th sounds good to us! Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting some new faces. I am going to finish off the Comp T/A's off for the season with one last "Burn down"

I think that a pot luck would work great and oh course a keg of beer might be in order. I will touch base with everyone when I get back into Canada Saturday. Take care. canada

Looks like the 14th for a BBQ/get together is a go.

We haven't locked down final plans, alot of folks have suggested bringing some stuff, which I think is a good idea so the work isn't all on a few people.

I don't think we need alot of food, as I am sure you have all been to one of these and there is enough food for an army.

Figure normal BBQ stuff for the menu:

Burgers and dogs
Salads
Sandwiches
Drinks (Beer, Soft Drinks etc)

Directions to JC's place will be given soon.........

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome....

Haven't heard much on this so far here is who I know will be there:

John C. (JC 87 GN)
Mike Y (Real-T)
Kyle (six-3X's-a-day)
Ron T (Turk)

Those who mentioned being there but haven't been confirmed:

Marc (MAP 87 GN)
Brad T (Spoolin Around)

Everyone is invited, if you want to bring something please do. Feel free to bring drinks, some snacks, salads, cookies etc. We will have drink and food there regardless, but the more the better, maybe lunch will turn into dinner, or everyone goes home with a care package

Rough directions to the spot is from the 416, head west (turn left) onto Fallowfield, then south (left) onto Richmond Rd. It is where the big strawberry is.

Email me or John for exact location. That way we know who is coming...... headbang

Hope to see you all there....

Thanks to everyone for making our inaugaral meet a success. It was a great chance to get to know each other and just hangout.

A special thanks to John and Shawna for offering up their home and helping put it all together. It was a great spot to hangout, snap some pics and talk about Buicks.

Stay tuned for a Luskville event where we can add more footage to that tape.........

Hey guys,
As everyone said, it was a great success for the first TR BBQ. Again many thanks to John & Shawna for their great hospitality and also Thanks to Mike for doing the organizing. If you guys want to share photos of the event you can send me your e-mail at jog_map@sympatico.ca
Again thank you to all, it was great to meet all of you & it's fun to be part of a club that has such great people in it.

P.S. Mike I tried to send you some pics & they are too big for the e-mail, I'll burn them on a cd & give them next time I see you.

Even though I could not make it due to a very sick young boy in the house, i would like to thank John, Shawna and Mike for taking the time to pull together a meet and greet. Cudos to all of you on that!

I for one want to see some pics, who is burning the CD's. Send me the footage and I will burn CD's for everyone. Can we post them on-line somewhere? Who here is good with this crap.

Anyway, let's do Luskville before the snow hits!

Cheers all!

hello tribe members of the "buickgnturbo" tribe....glad to see the first annual GDF Nats went well...I cant imagine the excitement generated around the camp fire...all the idle chat and general natterring about the mighty "six"...even talk of the rare black model....how the tribe has spoke...I heard the tribe feasted on a 5.0 mustang....theese are easy to catch...and good to eat...hunting the mighty LS6 1970 chevelle is more the challenge....8...count'em...eight throbbing cylinders of "eat me not" power.....perhaps the next GDF gathering will feast upon the Olds 442...or even a rarer 2+2 Grand prix...or maybe the tribal council shoul order takeout...like a OC Transpo bus...often humiliated by the stronger v6 turbo...bow down to the tribe...bow down to the tribe...you are back in black...and on the highway to hell....ha ha ha ha haaaaa haaaaa...yours in trust...chevellasaurus....
