Smile TA Performance Rear End Girdle - Group Purchase?

Just thought I would post this out to see if anyone wanted to split shipping and try to put together a GP for the TA Performance Girdle.

I am going to get one as they look like a nice piece and they have a purpose. They apply 5 psi pressure to the main bearing caps and will indeed prevent damage on those high torque launches!

The model we need is: 10 Bolt Chevrolet 8.5" Ring Gear, TA #1807. Price is $159.95 USD + shipping.

If we get 10 orders, the price will be $149.95, plus we save on shipping.

Let me know and we can try to get this in after Christmas.

Take care everyone.

Brad, that sounds good. But check out
www.bearsperformance.com
They have one too and they are in Toronto.
See if it's cheaper and I will talk to Rick and see if they will cut us a deal as well.

Joe,

Any idea on what the cover looks like ? I checked their site, it's in their price list for about $208 CDN, but couldn't find a pic.

The TA cover is nice, especially when it's polished up and looks beefy too.

The LPW ones that have been available for years have no where near the thickness on the mounting ring of the TA cover. Summit racing makes a cover too, but again with a thinner mounting surface. Now I am curious about these ones from Bear's.

I paid $139us from Gear r' Us. I thought that was a wicked price since every where else wanted $150-$160. At an exchange rate of 1.31 that is $182. But the $208 sounds pretty decent.

Wink Cover on!

Thanks Joe but I have already bought and installed the cover on my GN. Nice piece of work and well worth the money. Count on a couple C notes shipped to your door Canadian.

Well. I ordered the Strange Diff Cover and Brace.
TA didn't sell the Brace, so I went with Strange in Toronto.
I figured it was time since I broke the Gears, axle last year. Now with a Trans-Brake it was enevidable.
I posted my Mr. Gasket DIff Cover for sale if anyone wants it. It's a nice piece. Asking $50 U.S.

Good Luck to all Mods..
