ENGINE SWAP

I HAVE AN 83 CARB T TYPE THAT MY BROTHER RECENTLY WRECKED AN I BOUGHT A 85 REGAL LIMITED IF I SWAP THE MOTOR WILL IT WORK AN WILL I NEED TO SWAP THE WIRE HARNESS AN COMPUTER AN PROBLEMS MIGHT I RUN INTO

You are going to want to use the wires harness I believe and the ECM.

Pretty sure I've asked this question before, and the answer was everything is plug and play. I was told as long as it was feedback carb turbo setup it can go on any year.

I would use the '83 ECM, but you might get away with the '85 wiring.

Then again, with the engines out, it might be easy to swap the wiring harnesses.

Swap the overdrive trans and crossmember as well. The '83 has a 3.42 gear and the '85 probably has 2.41.
