Post Interesting 'Before Black' items on ebay and elsewhere

I'm not gonna post everything I find, just odd things, good deals or things people might overlook.

In this first post I'll leave some "standing searches". For the other posts, once they are old, I'll get rid of them. If anyone finds anything worthwhille on ebay or elsewere, please post it here. Maybe this will be the "Before Black" classifieds.

OTC Monitor scan tools on ebay. 2000's and lower are usually very cheap!

Thumbs up

I believe there is a reproduction of that sticker in the works at Jim Osbourne reproductions. They already do the decal that's my avatar.

They are also doing the '82 TR Emission decal (on the fan shroud).

Rich, Do you know if Jim Osborne is doing any other turbo decals? Are you working with them with this or is this something they are doing on their own? The only reason I ask is there are a ton of decals that need to be reproduced for our cars and they might not do a lot of them if the market isn't there.

A friend's redoing his '82 Turbo GN and he's getting the decals done. Once they get them in thier computer, they can pop out more. If you have an old decal, you send it to them and they will redo it. (I haven't done this personally, so I don't know all the details.)

Hard part is getting the old decals off somwhat intact.

I don't know what the heck this is. Looks like a GN that's had the "Grand National" cut off.

FYI, the deleted posts were just things out of date (no longer up for auction). I'll need to figure out a better way fo getting rid of them, otherwise this will become a long list of deleted posts.

I dont think it is that either. Its hard to make a cloisenne(sp) enamelized emblem look sharp after cutting it. I'm drawing a blank too. It doesn't look like the fender emblem, the border isn't wide enough and its hard to tell if it is metal or plastic. I'm also thinking maybe he cut it from a GN wheel center cap insert?

Looks like a hat pin that I have.

In fact judging size by the carpet fibers or styrofoam that it is on, that is what it is.
