 | taking the plunge. well i'm going to be getting a razors kit. my question is... what kind of alky do you use? i have a bunch of methanol. over 40 gal. to be exact. can i use it?

| Unless you are Always boosting you don't use that much. The new res. holds alot of juice. I added a drop of food coloring to mine to disguise it as antifreeze and easier to see the level since I'm getting too old. I'd venture to guesstimate about a gallon every 2-3 weeks for a daily driven car. HD or Lowes for 1 gal. denatured alky=$10. 40 gal of meth should last a few years  You are gonna love the system,makes it feel like a different car.

| Why not just leave it at 28psi ? It's still powered by pump gas correct ? I hate de-tuning my car from C16 down to 93 octane. Wish I could leave it at 25psi ALL the time. I'm prolly 'gonna buy a kit from Razor in the next 2 weeks or so...

| Welcome Rob, It is the best mod ever, simple install too. I installed a electrical boost controller for inside the car too. So on the street so I dont break the tires loose all the time I have it set to 18 at the track I turn everything up. Alky and boost and run 25+ with no knock except for about 1* between gears. Yes, Meth is the best to use. Dont get any on you though as it will freeze you arm lol. Dont ask!! if you need any install info or anything else hit me up.
