Methanol as a fuel

I had not seen this site in a long time, and, I stumbled across it again the other day.

The section on alcohol as a fuel is interesting...at least to me ...and would seem to explain why those that inject large quanities of methanol with high timing are successful....at least as long as they stay on the rich of A/Fs

Mr. Wood you are the man.

We're planning on running my 2.3L Ford dirt track racecar on meth this year and this is exactly the info I need.

just remember to flush the system out after use....and heed the section on pre ignition...nothing like the sound/feel of a methanol fueled car when it goes over the brink....
