Do all These Cooling Mist kits use Nylon Alky lines? Do they pass NHRA tech inspections? My local tech guy gets nervous with the Braided lines sometimes, he would probally have a stroke with the nylon lines.

Well if he ever pisses you off, buy our kit, opt for the nylon hose and have him inspect you car.

I think the nylon is "standard" and you can upgrade any kit to stainless steel AN lines with the teflon liners.

Scott

we have a winner!

Not everyone wants stainless lines. Well..99% of the buick sites do, and a percentage of our total customers, but 92% of our customers prefer the nylon with quick disconnects. We give you both choices.

If I remember correctly I showed you our Stainless hose and fittings in person.

You'll have as much trouble with a nylon line as running your wiring harness for whatever kit you install.

Assuming you run the wiring harness on top of the turbo or downpipe.

I think wagon had a bunch of (insert some type of plastic here) lines on his car for years. Don't recall him ever mentioning a problem.

And he had more lines than most people use too.

Then again some folks do melt wiring harnesses now don't they....

Thanks for the info. I have another brand kit on my Regal T & i'm VERY happy with it & there is ZERO chance of me changing it out. I've never run into a NHRA tech problem but i have my kit pretty well concealed & everything run in conduit. I was on the cooling mist web site looking at there kits for my cummins Diesel when i noticed there use of the nylon lines. They look like they have a nice product for the diesel trucks & i surely wouldn't be as upset if the truck burned to the ground. Just kidding........ I would be sick!! Nice looking truck stuff with impressive power gains.

You know what also "happeneds"?

People run braided lines too close to the battery positive terminal and too close to the alternator post.

Better take out that same level of fire insurance on those cars too.

Most car fires burn fast, and they ALL should be insured.

any of our products can be upgraded to stainless hose. Shortly we will have a grand national kit with stainless hose. It will be our trunk mount kit, with stainless hose already. While you can upgrade to stainless and many do, it seems to be easier to have a kit that has it in the picture.

yes our diesel kits are instane

Thanks!

Thanks!
Please post up when you have a Buick specific kit available, because looking at your website, there is so much stuff there that I'm overwhelmed and completely lost. . I don't know much about it, and need to buy a "plug n' play" kit when I do buy one.

Help us out, let me know what you mean by "plug n' play". Our trunk mount kit is so easy to install as everything is combined into one unit. Its a matter of strapping down the tank, give power to the controller and ground to the conroller. Running a vacuum hose or map sensor wire to the controller, connecting the hose and then finally installing the nozzle from the outside of the pipe using 1/8th NPT drill and tap. We are more than willing to listen to suggestions, let us know what you want and we can look at it and see.

thanks.
