2-bar MAP Sensor vs. 3-bar MAP??

I'm thinking seriously about purchasing an Alky Control kit from Razor, but I need advice as toi which MAP Sensor option to go with. The 2-bar kit is $75 less than the 3-bar. What are the benefits of the 3-bar sensor? Can I live with the 2-bar sensor?

Any suggestions would be of great help!

I wouldn't.
Might as well bite the bullet now, and just do it once. More likely then not, your probably going to up the boost, and at that time, you'd be wanting to update it anyway.

It's far easier, and cheaper to do things once.

I think one should worry more when people are lining up to get out of a country rather than into it.

If they're sneaking in, we must be doing something right.

So, it sounds like that he 3-bar functions better at higher boost levels. I'm not sure how much boost I'm going to be able to run, given our local 91 octane pump premium. But you both do make a great point. Once you're spending $450, what's another $75 to have the best!

Once the boost exceeds 14#, the 2 bar is out of resolution...
