BTW the only info I can give you my car is that it made 480somethin HP and about the same torque on the dyno with the alky. I never blew a headgasket and it was a daily driver. I eventually wiped out a few rod bearings on a later dyno visit which include some real bad backfires and overrevving on 3 dyno runs. The backfires were assumed to be rich pop. Never had a problem off the dyno though. Alky is on the new ATK motor and everything seems fine so far but I have the boost dialed back to 23psi now. I'm thinking of adding about 75 smaller sized nozzles with a corresponding number of pressure switches to make it more of a "progressive system". Do you think that will be cost effective?

First off, both Julio and Steve are great guys, both do the alky thing differently and both are probably the IT guys for DIY and Progressive alky.

Tomcat, your ? is the exact reason why you need to go with an SMC or PAC kit and not a DIY. You seem new to alky injection and due to this reason solely I would recommend going with the PAC or SMC and not the DIY route. In the long run, spending the extra $250 will be cheap insurance on you NOT blowing up your motor by making a mistake on the DIY.

For those who are more electronically inclinded, DIY would make a lot more sense. For guys like me that do not want or probably could put together a DIY and blow my motor up, I will leave it to guys like Julio and spend the extra $250.

And the DIY could be tuned to elimate bog and transitional knock, but the prog alky kit pretty much solved that asap with the turn of a knob for the newbie, which Tomcat you seem to fit this bill also.
Great for guys like me that want to get it wired up and boosting.

By the way, I got both you guys ( Razor and Steve ) involved with DSM's and making some extra coin doing what you do best. Can I get a hell ya for spreading the love to my fellow GNers.
