| Small praise to alcohol injection.... I've always had a problem with my car (or so I thought) with the boost not coming up over 17lbs. Early in the game I installed a DIY ALKY injection kit just for a safe guard. Set to come on around 8 lbs. Recently found out the new in the box boost guage I had bought was defective, after installing a new gauge and setting the boost knob in the previous position it had been I was hitting 28lbs! This is with 5 gal 100 octane and a full tank of 93. I'm sure I was getting some serious knock(running DFI W/o knock sensor at the moment...doh!) and my motor was crying but It is still here to tell the tale and I'm pretty sure without alcohol injection it wouldn't be! I solute you alky injection! ![]()
