| Alky tuning With Razor's kit I'm running 20# of boost with 38# of fuel pressure (line-on) with no knock. Should I lower fuel pressure or raise boost? Chris

| Turning up the boost seemed like the way to go, but I seem to recall someone saying to lean out as much as possible. Chris

| Free Information Kits | You should be able to run 22-23 psi but it can depend on ambient air temps, engine temp, type of intercooler, etc. My own preference is to run 20 - 23 lbs of boost and then up the timing till it won't take more. The higher boost menas instant spool. ![]()

The kit will put out enough alky to do whatever you want to throw at it. Upping the boost it will spray harder.. so leave the alky alone. Just watch your O2's.. keep them in the 750 range and work from there. if the car is at 730 at 24 PSI, give it a little more FP to bring the number up. See how it responds at various O2's as to knock and MPH gain from 1/8 - 1/4. Should see at least 20 MPH, better is around 25 MPH. Typical is about 23 on a mid 11 sec car. Less on a slower car. Boost depends on turbo. The alky will cover up any IC issues except for holes in it. HTH | |

| Julio, thanks for responding. I have a stock turbo and my o2s are often over 800. Do I lower fuel pressure? and then up boost?

| When you slam the pedal down, they will go over 800.. that is normal. As the O2 sensor heats up from exhuast it will drop.. you want to look at 02's at the top of third gear. If your at 23 PSI boost, FP 38 PSI line off, and top of third gear is 830.. time for a different chip. Again, looking at O2's as soon as you stomp it.. cannot tell. Tell me what theyre at at 90 MPH-100 MPH If you leave your FP alone and up the boost, the O2's will fall. Stock turbo is all done around 23-24 PSI. HTH |

| An alky or mild race chip would also give you noticeable gain. Jeremy
