alky kits

Hi all,

Thinking about an akly kit. Tired of switching to race gas all the time and having 2 different tunes.

What are the experiences out there? Should I bother? I've read good things about both SMC and Razor's kits.

I'm just paranoid about some of the horror stories I've heard about lines falling off and causing worse situations than simply running race gas.

Advice? Recommendations?

Do it..you won't be sorry. Been running the SMC kit for a few years. No downside. While its not as good as running Race fuel, its fairly close. I've run 21 PSI on the street with no knock. Probably could run a little more. Actually wound up turning it down a bit as it was too much on the street.

Race gas is for Race cars.

I love alky in my street car.

I should have done it sooner. Think your car is fun now?

Just wait!

24 psi. for me.

12.1 on slicks at the track. Bolt on street tires drive it home. No changes.
