| Free Information Kits | Razor, are we having a bad day? I don't understand the hostile replys and didn't think they were necessary. Anyway, Ya know, there can be combos not identical to yours which will produce good results. Turbo choices depend on what conditions are where you meet your kill opportunities. Several guys around here are running what I'd call oversized turbos and they only go to the track to get the top end dialed in for their street games. Sometimes, the ETs aren't much better than my stock GN but I'd be foolish to try them from a 40 mph roll. A car that ETs great on the strip isn't usually the one that works best here where we have wide open stretches to put the hammer down. (Oh BTW, a couple of those cars I was speaking of have ran high 10s at over 130 mph on 100 octane and alky and one went 126 at 28 psi on my DIY kit with no knock.)

| "Hey salvageV6.. when you taking the car to the track... its got cobwebs in the downpipe" You do remember who started this right? Maybe you are the one to be ignored? ![]() Sales pitch may work for some but not everyone... Cars get raced plenty to dial in the combo. not that it's radical or anything, but certainly no need to blow up to run an 11 on pump gas and alky. only 155K on the car, don't want to hurt those factory headgaskets just yet. Not sure why you need to blow up stuff at this level but I guess if you need to tune by blowing up go for it. ![]() Got quite a long siggy. actually on both sites, also posted track results and time slips as soon as I came back from racing. Try the search feature it works well, good for alky. questions too. Maybe it would be YOU that woulda been spanked in FLA. had you not been skeered and outlawed my turbo that incidentally happens to work just fine with stock heads and cam. Not sure if it's good for 120 mph without a new valve job however. lol I never wonder why I can't go fast, car actually runs what it's supposed to. ![]() But then I actually give a credence to those that have been there and done that before safely and smartly, a lot you can learn from people by actually listening to them. ![]() |

| Hey Salvage............Nice to see ya still around!! I guess your probally thinking the same thing about me!!??. We are going to have to hook up again and grab some of those Hooter burgers to catch up on things!! I'm working less hours now (only 50 or so), so it shouldn't be a problem. I just read this thread and got quite a kick out of some of these posts. Guess if you made over 600 1/4 mile runs, it gives you the right to slam someone for no good reason?? Hmmm............you better throw out the glove box full of timing slips!! Talk to you later.........Ken

| Hey Ken, Ben told me you were actually working on the new car, and of course I was shocked. Glad the new job is working out for you. ![]() Ferd boys have a track rental in early Oct., the 8th I think. Probably won't make the BPG event so that might be a good place to go up to, all 2.1K foot climb. ![]() Or Hooters, that works too. Just a joke that got out of hand.... ![]() |

Yea....Put everything on the GN from the 'T', plus Ben's old dual nozzle alky setup. The new 9" converter goes in soon. Car should rip off some high 11's hopefully. The GN hooks better the the 'T' ever did!!! Just got the Turbo back from John Craig(TA-49). Should be able to spank a certain white T/Type I know of!!! Sorry Ben..............But you know it's coming...... KTB

| Hey you guys gotta sign up for the Ferd Drag Day at LVD in the fall. Friday as usual, hope to race the GN that day since the rear brakes are being done this week and all the gauges are in it and the second stage alky. is also in there. ![]() 3 way racing, I get the by in the first round. ![]() Here's the link. http://www.svtoa.org/events_dd_fall_04_info.php Usual high price but the weather should be good. ;) Hope y'all can make it, otherwise I have to race Cobras all day. Wish I never put the oil pressure gauge in that car. ![]() |
