Alcohol and O2's

If I'm running alcohol injection, how does this effect tuning by O2's. I recently found out I was runnig way lean, but becuase of the alcohol, I didn't have any knock. Richening up the mixture help ET's big time.

If I were to get a wide band O2 sensor, would I tune the same if I didn't have alcohol?

I haven't seen any difference in O-2s but then I'm only using a 40% mix of alcohol. Also think an EGT would be all you need to tune the car properly.

Running higher boost and leaving the FP where it was set at when at lower boost will cuase the car to run leaner. My EGT's track my O2's as when I didnt run alky.

800's = high 1400-low 1500's.. 750's= 1600's 700's= 1700's.

Some cars you lean them out and dont make power, others you throw more fuel and they wake up.. depends.. temperature, boost, timing, etc.. Lots of variables to play with.

BTW.. Steve where have ya been
