Nope never heard of that one.

Gotta be some way to get clearance without too much work.

Any chance of loosening the mounting and rotating the float or pump to gain clearance?

Doing that carefully or bending some more carefully should work.

Did Steve give you instructions how to repair it, or will you have to send him the tank?

Just posting for reference purposes in case some else has this issue.

Hey Razor I will have to send my tank out to Steve. Then when it returns UPS can give it to me in the ass and charge me pst,gst and brokage fees. Then i will have to go through hell to get my money back from Revenue Canada explaining it was a warranty idem.I am going through this now with another part that i got taxed on a warrant part. It sucks everytime parts go through the border, because of this i might just live with no low light indicator.I will just pop the hood more often and take a peek at alcohol level.

Humberto,

I think Steve at SMC ships US Postal Service to Canada, not UPS. When I got my kit, Steve sent it USPS and it didn't cost me a dime to get it into the country. Why not drive your car to Bowling Green this spring and have it fixed by Steve while you are there?? I assume he will be there again this year, he lives in Kentucky, not that far from Bowling Green I believe.
