Club 120

Made it this weekend,

2.082
5.336
7.913
97.22
10.137
11.994
120.78

Couldnt build boost, left at 4-5 PSI and took 40 feet for the car to start pulling. Tires at 25 PSI, no burnout, just couldnt break them. Drag radials.

If I could launch at 15-20 PSI, .... "IF"

Looks the slip from a Viper doesnt it

making the alky boys proud

Don't you have a convertor in the car? Ported Heads and Cam killed the bottom end eh? Gee Who woulda guessed ;)

Congrats on the 120! That Rocks

P.S. Got the Kit and Pump, haven't opening it yet. Its sitting next to my ATR Exhaust, Line Lock, Valve Springs, Slicks, Trans Cooler, LS1 Maf, Translator, Extender Chip and other assorted stuff.

Sigh... More Parts than Time.

Razor man I would have loved to, but I'm a little tied up with this anti-terrorism thing in Africa. I'm coming back to the states in a month and will be in Tampa in all of July. Much needed vacation!! Mind and body are fried...

Great chatting with you on Saturday and CONGRATULATIONS on that achievement

I remembering us talking about the EGTs and I wonder if the fueling was still too fat and might have contributed to the spoolup issue. Imagine what a 1.70 would have done for that pass? My guess would be an 11.50+. BTW, if you had launched at 15psi you would still be spinning those DRs Anything over 7spi was mosquito-fogging time for me.

Scottie I hear ya, I tried a different chip and same thing, car was leaving at 15 PSI no problem before the heads and cam change.. so i'll be inspecting my exhuast for issues before turbo.. just to be sure.

Feels just like when I had put that PT54 turbo on the car, whereas I couldnt build any boost and as soon as it took off...was like 3 seconds out before it picked up. I think with a 1.60-1.65 60 foot 11.25-11.30 no problem. Due to time lost in making power.

Drag radials.. I hear ya.. would cut veins to make them go wooosh.

Good luck next weekend in Ga,

I'll be there soon. All I need is some head and cam action!!
You know what I mean? I am pushing alot of psi but need more flow. Not to mention I am pushing a brick through the traps at 116. That white pontiac thing cuts through the wind. Don't forget Julio, you will have another install next week if the deal go through. Your Alky kits rock. My third one!

That is basically the timeslip I ran with the Thrasher. Except no 97mph in the 1/8. I was 91mph in the 1/8 and 121mph at the big end Plus I did it in 75 degree weather not the amazon dripping conditions you run in.

Nice job
