Considering donating my GNX Production items to an auto Museum

A many of you know I have acquired over the years a fairly rare collection of one of a kind items used in the production of the GNX's. I have offered to sell these items off to a caring collector, however, I'm disappointed that no one has stepped up to do so. Is it that no one really cares? I know if these were items used to build a special Corvette or the molds for a font end and rear wing from a hemi Superbird, there would be collectors all over them. What is it, I'd like to know. Please share your thoughts

With that, I have begun to explore the possibility of donating these rare items to a worthy automobile museum. The list I have come up with to contact so far is

Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village

National Association of Automobile Museums

National Automotive Museum

Please provide any feedback or suggestions. I'm not totally sold on the idea yet, just exploring it right now.

Thanks

Joe
