He states that the motor was rebuilt 45000 km ago along with the tranny. I popped the hood and the motor was filthy for a rebuilt motor. It had tons of oil on it from previous sprays. The body is a little rusty. The driver's fender has some rust, Bottom of the doors are not bad at all. The bottom rails where the body by fisher kick panels are had some rust but no holes..........The undercarriage had grease everywhere or tar whatever you want to call it....The rear frame rails from what i saw had some rust and was starting to slightly flake... .....BUT NO HOLES.......The rear main seal was leaking....As i mentioned it to the guy he said it's probably from the rocker covers and said that the rear main seal was not leaking. I said that both his rockers and rear main seal were leaking......I took the car for a drive with him. The car runs good and strong......From the first start the car did not puff any smoke.....I drove it, pushed the turbo and picked up very well.....I think that the tranny has a shift kit because of the way it shifted very hard and slightly different compared to a stock one. I asked him if it was beefed up.....he replied.."could be"....I found that the guage light was very low....It was hard to see at night the mielage on the odometer....The light on the guage would flicker from time to time.....Overall the car was pretty good.....The dash pad was split and may need to be changed......The interior needs a good steam clean......It basically needs TLC.....Paint is crap on it.....The front header is chipped to death......The paint on the trunk is peeling.....Certain rust spots on the car.....But again TLC......As i drove her i kept hearing this rattle from the rear...I realized that the trunk lid rattles when you go over a bump.....I forgot to mention....the car is a hard top....
When we arrived back at his house i told him that i am serious about buying the car and made him on offer....He turned it down and said that he was firm on the price.....I tried talking to him to explain that the car needs workl......in which infact it does need lots of TLC......I really like the car and am going to follow up with him in the next few days.......I want to buy this car for my little boy.....I hope that he will reconsider....The car needs work.....
In my opinion...he is asking a little too high for that car.....

Was the car a true Turbo T with the WE4 package or did it have the Y56 package on the RPO along with the WO2 ?
Cause from what I recall the WO2 package could be gotten on a regular regal as well and just added the black trim package. Same goes for the Y56 which added Touring Suspension; Leather wrapped Sport Steering Wheel, Turbo aluminum wheels, Tires, Fast Ratio Power Steering, Gas Shocks, and "T" emblems.

Thus still making it possible to have that appearance but have come with the regular V6. This is all obviously obsolete if the LC2 was shown on the RPO. Just stuff I would double check if you are worried about a matching drive train.
