The mechanic says there's still meat on them to turn...but he says it requires a special bit for turning them. All I can tell you Phil is that I had absolutely NO brake pedal pulsation with them on my car. I'd prefer them being turned BEFORE they're installed on your car. Norbs says the aluminum drums have a steel sleeve...so I can't see a problem turning them.
